Americans On Food Stamps

The number of people using food stamps through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) increased by an average of 13 percent a year from 2008 to 2012.  House Republicans dropped funding for food stamps from a new version of the farm bill.  Voting takes place Thursday.  Read related article.

It is so sad that about 47 million Americans are on food stamps.How could the government say that the economy is growing when we have 47 million people on government food stamps.If we had a republican President,the media would have a field day about that many people on food stamps.Since we have a “minority”President I guess that’s O.K. by the lame stream media who gives Oblammer a pass on everything.
