York County Homicide Victim Sami Young Was Stabbed Repeatedly, Coroner’s Office Says

TUESDAY UPDATE:
An autopsy Tuesday morning on the body of 21-year-old Samantha “Sami” Young determined she died of multiple stab wounds, according to the York County Coroner’s Office, which has ruled her death a homicide.

REPORTED MONDAY:

Samantha Young’s former boyfriend was covered in blood when police went to his Wrightsville home Sunday afternoon.

Marcus James Bordelon admitted to officers that he and Young had been in a domestic dispute inside his home Saturday evening, and admitted he “did use a knife to keep her from leaving the residence” about 4 a.m. Sunday, according to charging documents.

Bordelon claimed a large blood stain on his floor came from a cut on his own hand, police said.

York Businessman Accused In Murder-For-Hire Plot Free On $10M Bail

A York-area business owner accused of hiring a hit man to kill his wife’s lover walked out of York County Prison on Friday morning.

Gregory Allen Hess, through a local bail bondsman, posted his $10 million bail and left the prison at 11:04 a.m., according to prison records.

Hess, 46, of 1950 Hoff Road in North Codorus Township, is charged with solicitation to commit homicide.

The co-owner of Keystone Restoration & Builders Inc. is accused of paying $1,900 to a man identified in court as “Informant 1” to kill Christopher Ward, who was involved with Hess’ wife, Laurie Hess.

Police Raid York Corner Grocery For Drugs, Money And Guns

Police seized thousands of dollars worth of heroin and other drugs, along with handguns and cash, in a raid at a York corner grocery store this week, officials said at a news conference Wednesday.

York City Police Chief Wes Kahley said police raided Miguel’s Deli and Grocery, 901 W. Princess Street, and Miguel Garcia’s home above it. They also arrested Sisdey Paz, of the 800 block of West Poplar Street.

“He was selling it out of the store,” York Detective First Class Andrew Shaffer said of Garcia. “He was selling about $1,000 a day of cocaine and heroin.”

Among items seized was a block of raw heroin worth about $100,000, 250 packets of individually packed heroin, $30,000 in cash, raw cocaine worth about $5,000, marijuana, anabolic steroids and three handguns, Kahley said.
