Lancaster, Strasburg Among Top 10 Most Beautiful Towns In Pennsylvania

WP_20150413_15_01_39_ProThe folks at the Culture Trip recently released its guide to the 10 most beautiful towns in Pennsylvania, and two of their choices are located here in Lancaster County.

Lancaster city was lauded for its “unique shops and boutiques, a plethora of outstanding restaurants and a beautiful countryside,” while Strasburg was recognized for its railroad attractions and its countryside, which was described as “rich in history and beauty.”

“Amish Mafia” Star Severely Beaten In Strasburg

A star of the hit television series “Amish Mafia” was severely beaten by her boyfriend last week in Strasburg, police allege.

Imir R. Williams, 24, is charged with felony aggravated assault for repeatedly punching Esther Schmucker in the head early on Halloween morning, charging documents indicate.

As of Tuesday, police were searching for Williams, listed in court documents as 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds.

A felony arrest warrant was filed Sunday.

Strasburg Chef Out On ‘Hell’s Kitchen’

Barbie has left the kitchen.

Strasburg resident Barbie Marshall made it all the way to the final four on FOX‘s “Hell’s Kitchen,” but the chef was eliminated at the conclusion of Monday night’s broadcast.

In its 10th season, “Hell’s Kitchen” is hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.  Marshall was one of 18 contestants competing for the head chef’s position at the Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant in Las Vegas’ Paris Hotel.

At the end of Monday’s episode, Ramsay told Marshall, 34, that he considered her improvement to be significant.  He called her a smart woman who should take her experience on the show “and run with it.”
