ArtFusion 19464 Gets Jazzy For A Good Cause‏

Pottstown,PA – ArtFusion’s seventh annual Fashion Plates fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 20 at Brookside Country Club from 6-9pm.  This year’s theme is Fashion Notes, and the event will be an amazing fusion of food, fashion and music.

ArtFusion 19464, formerly The Gallery School of Pottstown/Gallery on High, is a charitable 501(c)3 non-profit community art center. Proceeds from this event help them not only to continue to offer a great selection of classes for all ages, but also to expand their free programs and scholarships.  ArtFusion has been bringing the arts to the greater Pottstown community for almost 8 years, and relies on major fundraisers like Fashion Plates to help keep their doors open.  Generous community sponsors of this event include: Heartland Abstract, S&H Interiorscapes, Dolan & Mayerson, PC and Genesis Housing.

Jazz musician Adam Price and his band will perform musical hits from the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Guests will experience a dynamic, multimedia fashion event with local student models wearing vintage costumes from several jazz eras.  The models will walk to the accompaniment of Adam’s jazz quartet performing musical hits from each era.  Visit his website to hear some of Adam’s musical talents: www.adampricemusic.com.

The event’s silent auction is based on the idea of Edible Art, with local bakers, confectioners and chefs creating mouthwatering items for guests to bid on, as well as locally crafted beer and wine. Among those donating their culinary talents are: Bause Catering, Montesano Bros., Sand Castle Winery, Stone Keep Meadery, Giant, Bridge Street Chocolates, The Baker’s Touch and many more.

Tickets are $70 each, or two for $120.  Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner and yummy dessert, a chance to win fun door prizes, an evening of live music and fashion.  A cash bar will be available. ArtFusion 19464 offers day, evening and weekend classes to all ages.  The goal of these classes is to help students develop their creative skills through self-expression and independence. ArtFusion’s gallery hosts rotating shows featuring local artists.  The gallery also sells handcrafted, one-of-a-kind gift items.  The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. The gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.

Breakfast and Fall Fashions by ANN TAYLOR will be held on Saturday, September 29, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Brookside Country Club in Pottstown.  This event supports literacy programs that teach adults in our area reading, writing, math, workplace skills and the English language.

Gallery School Of Pottstown Fundraiser Travels To Venice For Carnival

Pottstown, PA – The non-profit Gallery School of Pottstown will hold its signature fundraiser on March 31 from 6 – 9pm at Brookside Country Club in Pottstown.  The theme for Fashion Plates 6 is Carnival in Venice.

This annual fundraiser returns to its roots as an evening, couples-friendly event.  Guests will enjoy amazing food, an unlimited signature cocktail and wonderful entertainment.  Community members will model in a fabulous fashion show, sponsored by Boscov’s Department Stores.  A magician, a harpist and more will entertain guests during the cocktail hour and as they browse the silent auction.  Every guest will also be eligible for fun door prizes.

The food for the evening will begin with an antipasti bar during the cocktail hour.  Guests can enjoy the unlimited signature cocktail, or take advantage of the cash bar.  Dinner will be a deluxe salad bar, a beef station with chef-carved top round of beef, and a pasta station with smoked mozzarella and roasted red pepper ravioli with plum tomato and pesto cream sauce, and penne tossed with sautéed julienne peppers, zucchini, mushrooms and sundried tomatoes in a parmesan marinara sauce.  After dinner, guests can enjoy a variety of delectable desserts.  All proceeds benefit the mission of the non-profit Gallery School: to enrich the lives of the residents in the greater Pottstown area through the visual arts.

GALLERY SCHOOL OF POTTSTOWN AND BOSCOV’S PARTNER FOR 5TH ANNUAL FASHION PLATES FUNDRAISER

Pottstown, PA – Spring is here, which means that it is time once again to join the Gallery School of Pottstown as they host their annual Fashion Plates fundraiser on Sunday, April 10th, from 1-4 pm at Brookside Country Club.  Now in its 5th year, the theme of this year’s event is Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and promises to be a fabulous time for all who attend.

“As always, we are happy to hold our Fashion Plates fundraiser at Brookside Country Club,” said Cathy Paretti, Gallery Director and co-founder of the Gallery School.  “We are also extremely excited to be working with Boscov’s for this year’s show.  The Gallery School and Boscov’s have fostered a tremendous working relationship, and we are thrilled that they will be on hand to showcase their fantastic styles at our biggest fundraising event of the year.”

The Gallery School of Pottstown is a non-profit organization that aims to provide an excellent education in the arts to both the youth and adults of our community. Our instructors are all professional artists who limit class size for more individualized instruction. We help students to foster their creativity and develop their talents for both their personal enrichment and as a foundation for advanced studies in the arts.
