2 Arrested After Shots Fired In Wilkes-Barre Tenant/Property Manager Dispute

WILKES-BARRE, PA — Two people were arrested after shots were fired during a landlord-tenant dispute, city police said.

An investigation of a report of shots being fired in the area of 113 Blackman St. early Friday afternoon revealed that the incident stemmed from an argument at 64 Bradford St., which is located nearby.

Police said Tanisha Goggins, 30, of 64 Bradford St., and her guest, Nicholas Crooks, 27, of Brooklyn, New York, had been involved in a dispute with Goggins’s property manager, and that Crooks allegedly pointed a gun at the property manager.

Philadelphia Teen Shot In Nanticoke

A shooting in Nanticoke left an 18-year-old male injured Sunday afternoon, police said.

Mark Brown-Mathis of Philadelphia was found walking down an alleyway between Orchard and West Broad Streets by two residents around 1:30 p.m., police said.

Brown-Mathis allegedly told the residents not to call police prior to them reporting the incident to 911.

When police arrived on scene they discovered Brown-Mathis had a gunshot wound to his right upper arm, according to the Nanticoke police department.

York Police ID Alleged Shooter In Saturday’s Double Homicide

York City detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for the man believed to be responsible for Saturday evening’s double homicide, York City Police Chief Wes Kahley said.

Laquan Pierrelouis, 22, whose last-known address was in the 900 block of West King Street, is wanted for the 7 p.m. homicides of Braydon Aldinger, 23, of Danielle Court, and Derek Feree, 26, of Old Mill Inn Road. Both men lived in Manchester Township.

“The two victims intentionally called Pierrelouis and a Hispanic male to the 500 block of West Mason Avenue in order to conduct a drug transaction,” Kahley said.

Suspect In Fatal Stabbing In Reading Still At Large

A Reading man accused of breaking into a city home and fatally stabbing an acquaintance while women and children were there remained at large Monday.

Julio A. Ortiz-Lugo, 30, is charged with first-, second, and third-degree murder, burglary and related counts in the slaying of Juan C. Lopez-Bonilla, 36, on Sunday morning in the 500 block of Minor Street.

Ortiz-Lugo, whose last-known address was in the 1100 block of Franklin Street, might not be easy to find, police said.

In addition to the new arrest warrant, police said there was an outstanding bench warrant for Ortiz-Lugo in a 2012 theft and weapons case in Reading.

Reading police are looking for a man they say stabbed and repeatedly slashed his estranged girlfriend in her home while her two young children were there.

Bladimir Delvalle, 32, whose last known address is the 1000 block of Locust Street, was charged with attempted murder and related charges in the assault of the 33-year-old woman Monday night in the 1300 block of Perkiomen Avenue.

Senior District Judge Gloria W. Stitzel signed an arrest warrant for Delvalle early Tuesday in Reading Central Court. He remained at large Tuesday.

The woman suffered several cuts on her face, a deep cut to her left forearm, a cut on her right knee and shallow puncture wounds on her back, investigators said.

Two Charged In Slaying Of Birdsboro Man

Reading police obtained arrest warrants for two men in the shooting death of a Birdsboro man whose body was found in an alley last month.

Police identified Johnnie L. Nelson, 26, of the 800 block of North Fifth Street, and Eric Harding, 23, of the first block of Gouglersville Road, Cumru Township, as suspects in the death of Darryl A. Jones, 26.

Both are already in Berks County Prison for parole violations.

Suspect Sought In Death Of Reading Man

An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in the death of a man whose bullet-riddled body was found in June outside a Reading storage unit.

Ruderick Quitcon-Vazquez, 25, formerly of the 600 block of Schuylkill Avenue, is wanted in the death of Yamil Lozado-Ocasio, 36, of the same block, city police said.

The suspect remains at large, said Sgt. John M. Solecki of the criminal investigations division.

UPDATE: Hazleton Police ID Suspect In Friday’s Shooting

HAZLETON — City police have identified a suspect in the shooting of a 29-year-old man early Friday morning on West Diamond Avenue.

The Hazleton Police Detective Division has applied for an arrest warrant for Juan Carlos Paulino, 26, of 635 N. James St., Apartment 2, Hazleton, police said in a press release.

Police allege that Paulino shot a man, whose name they would not release, multiple times in the chest and abdomen in the 600 block of West Diamond Avenue at about 1:40 Friday morning.
