He is also past president of the Bicycle Product Suppliers Association, from which he earned the organization’s National Advocacy Award. After spending several semesters at MCCC, Cunnane transferred to Temple University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

On Sept. 13, 2012, Officer Fox was tragically killed in the line of duty as he and K-9 Officer Nick were responding to a call. Fox’s induction plaque will be presented to his wife Lynsay and children Kadence and Bradley, of Gilbertsville.

In addition to an associate’s degree from Montgomery, Pitts holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Gwynedd-Mercy University and Arcadia University, respectively, all in mathematics.

Jan Kargulewicz, of King of Prussia, is this year’s “Rising Star” alumnus. He is a project manager at Vanguard, where began his career as a participant in the Vanguard Accelerated Development Program, which allows motivated college graduates to develop leadership skills.  In addition to an associate’s degree in Social Sciences from MCCC, Kargulewicz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Columbia University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Today, he serves as vice chair of MCCC’s Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Joseph and Kathy Gallagher, of Ambler, are this year’s “Honorary Alumni” inductees. Strong supporters of MCCC’s mission, they served as co-chairs for the Foundation’s “Futures Rising” campaign, which raised $10.5 million for student scholarships. Mr. Gallagher is the owner and president of Gallagher Fluid Seals in King of Prussia, and he is a member of MCCC’s Foundation Board of Directors. Ms. Gallagher is the executive director of institutional advancement at the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr. In 2014, the Gallagher’s received a national Community College Benefactor Award from the Council for Resource Development (CRD) for their commitment and service to MCCC.

With the new inductees, a total of 74 individuals have been selected from MCCC’s 58,000+ alumni for induction into the Alumni Hall of Fame over the past 13 years.
