What a sad Leap Day. Davy Jones, former Monkees lead singer, died today of a heart attack at the age of 66. Jones leaves behind a wife and four daughters.
RIP Davy… you caught the “Last Train To Clarksville”

Davy Jones was one of the better “Teen Idols”.The heyday of the Monkees were a little before I can remember(I was born 1964),they were I believe better than the Beatles.
It’s sad that we have no real “teen idols”now days for the kids to look up to.Todays music pretty much sucks.
That’s probably why I buy a lot of 70’s and 80’s CD’s.
Rest in peace Davy,we’ll miss you.
