A man who is wanted in connection with the killing of his girlfriend in Pottstown, Pennsylvania has been ordered held without bond pending his extradition.
Edwin Carrero, 32, had his initial court appearance Wednesday morning. He’s wanted in the murder of 31-year-old Alicia Schmidt and also charged with grand theft auto.
He was arrested Tuesday at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood after a Seminole Tribal police officer said he noticed Carrero acting suspiciously and “rummaging” through the back of a Volkswagen Jetta.
