This is very sad news but yet hardly unexpected. The 27-year-old singer has made more headlines recently for her drug and alcohol problems than she has for making music. Another tragic end to a talented musician. Amy won twenty-eight awards, including five Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best New Artist, all in 2008.

Very sad indeed Roy. She had great talent, but her demons got the best of her. Another member of the 27 Club (other members include former Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, bluesman Robert Johnson, and original Grateful Dead keyboardist Ron “Pigpen” McKernan – all dead at the age of 27). Very sad.
Very sad to see yet another young talent falling into drugs.Yet another reason why people who are using drugs to cover up things that they want to cover up need to start beleiving in something higher and greater than they are.I suggest drug addicts turn to GOD for all of the answers they are looking for.Drugs are of the devil and way too many people died from that.My thoughts and prayers are with the Winehouse family and everyone who loved and cared about Amy.
