Wasn’t there a study done on this for P’town in the last few years? Did it not suggest that we, too, hop on this bus? Why are we not talking about this during budget talks, negotiations and Council meetings???
Reducing the number of firehouses can have a positive impact, too – firehouses make REALLY cool rehabbed buildings for commerce (restaurant, anyone?) and then a return to the tax rolls, to boot!
Is this not a win-win for the whole of the town to make this happen??
Yes, there was a study done and we keep talking about it and not moving forward. It was brought up during Council meetings at budget time again because the borough partially funds each company.
