Natalie Holloway murder suspect, Joran van der Sloot has been accused of murdering a young woman in Lima, Peru. Van der Sloot has been staying in Lima since May 14th while playing in a poker tournament.
Joran fled to Chile the day after the killing and Interpol has issued an international arrest warrant. The suspect and victim were seen together on a casino survalence video early Sunday. A hotel staff member stated he saw Joran and Stephany enter Joran’s room. Joran checked out of the hotel four hours later.
21-year-old Stephany Flores was subsequently found murdered in Van der Sloot’s hotel room. Blood splatters indicate signs of a struggle according to police. A Lima newspaper is reporting Stephany was stabbed. In a bizarre twist, the killing occurred exactly 5 years after the Natalie Holloway disappearance.
