The building expansion will increase the number of companies able to be housed from 24 to 40 and the number of people employed will increase from 118 to 200!

Ben Franklin Technology Partners applied for and successfully received a $6 million dollar grant from the Recovery Act through the U.S. Commerce Department.  Vice-President Joe Biden will on hand for the April 15th for ground-breaking.

Redevelopment Venture In Easton

This is yet another example of a local redevelopment effort from The Morning Call.  Through their state representative, Bob Freeman, Easton secured a $200,000 grant from the PA Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.  Another $100,000 is anticipated from PA’s Growing Greener II grant fund.

Update On 422 Shooter

John A. Yannarell, of Gilbertsville posted bail and has been released from the Montgomery County prison.  He posted a $50,000 cash bail (bail was set at $500,000 and the accused pays 10% of that amount).

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 21st.

Inquiring minds want to know…. will he be commuting on 422 between now and the hearing?  Considering the seriousness of this offense, are we safe with this individual on the loose?  I understand there are two sides to every story, however, shooting someone isn’t rational behavior.
