Thanks to my friends over at SavePottstown!, I learned that the scheduled NSC meeting for tonight has been cancelled. Glad in a way so I can stay home and rest. I will be attending the General Board Meeting on Thursday evening. Let the fireworks continue!
Power to the Pottstown people!
Today’s Pottstown Mercury features a paid “pity-party” ad from Mr. Tom Hylton where he wails and moans about SavePottstown.com and a few residents who disagree with him. This is neaty tied up with a big old bow as cyber-bullying and hatemongering. How convenient. When people disagree with us we label them as hatemongers.
Oh please. Would you like a tissue? Should we call a whambulance?
Maybe, just maybe, if you would learn to play nice with the other kids things would go so much easier for you. Public perception based on present and previous performance is very poor. Tactics used are questionable and raise eyebrows.
Nobody likes a know-it-all. People don’t like to be side-stepped with secret meetings. People like to be included and made to feel part of the process. People need to feel valued. Why is this so difficult to understand? You aren’t Charles in charge of our lives. That was a television character played by Scott Baio. It’s not funny and cute in real life. It’s insulting and annoying.
You made your bed, now you must lie in it. Stop blaming others for the predicament you find yourself in Tom. You have no one to blame but yourself.
