I found this tidbit of information interesting because of the brouhaha here in Pottstown over people saving their parking space with a chair etc… after we have snow.
Pottstown has something on the books, I believe, that fines residents for placing chairs, etc… in the street to save their “dug out” parking space. As usual, there are people on both sides of the issue with strong opinions.
The City of York is warning residents that as of March 15th, any items left in the street to save parking spaces will be considered trash and collected by garbage crews. These items will be picked up and disposed of accordingly.
Just some food for thought.
