Road Work PSA

Here is some road work to look forward to in our area:

On Route 422 east in Upper Providence and Limerick, there will be only one lane open from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. from Jan. 4-8 between Route 29 and the Royersford exits for guardrail replacement. Road-Con Inc. is in charge of the $12.2 million project.

On Route 422 west, between Route 29 and Royersford, the left lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 2 p.m. the next day for conduit installation from Jan. 4-8.

There will be ramp construction in Trappe and Collegeville from Jan. 4-8 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the following roads:

Main Street in Trappe at First and Third avenues, lane restrictions in place.

Ridge Pike at West Fifth Avenue and Seventh Avenue, lane restrictions in place.

Main Street in Collegeville at West Fourth Avenue/Glenwood Avenue, at Ninth Avenue, Eighth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Fifth Avenue, Third Avenue and Second Avenue, lane restrictions in place.

Second Avenue in Collegeville at Park Avenue and Freeland Drive, lane restrictions in place.

On Lewis Road in Limerick there will be an ADA ramp construction Jan. 4-8 at Spring-Ford Middle School/High School’s driveway entrance from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
