It’s funny how life works.  Doors are always opening and closing.  As a firm believer in the “everything happens for a reason” theory, I don’t believe in coincidences.  Things happen for specific reasons and whether we like it or not we have no real control over much of anything.

I recently had a door abruptly close in my life.  It came without warning and I am not sure what to make of it all.

For me, this time of year is filled with self reflection and introspection.  The older I become, the more self-analyzation I do at birthday time.  This year is no exception.

Hopefully I can regroup and move forward.  Maybe tomorrow.  Right now there is more thinking to do.

  1. Doors are what they are, portals that open and close. Sometimes they close for reasons that you know of and others you have no idea why, confusion reigns. But, I’ve always been a firm believer in that whatever happens in life, a lesson has to be learned, whether that lesson or the answer therein, is good or bad. We learn from lessons and the results of our actions (and, unforunately, we are touched by the actions and reactions of others). You my good friend are a special person and too strong to let some adversity bar your path. So onward and upward, knowing that your good friends like myself are always in your corner. Hugs, and let’s get together to tip that glass soon, I need it as much as you, K*

  2. Hang in there, Dude!

We all know you will bounce right back – you’re way too talented to let a temporary setback hold you down for long.

Don’t let ’em get to you!
