Dan Onorato has formally announced his bid for Governor of Pennsylvania. He makes the fifth Democrat to enter the primary race. Onorato is a 48 year old Allegheny County Executive who is running on the same platform as Ed Rendell did in 2002. Onorato is the chief executive of a large metropolitan area (Allegheny County) of 1.2 million people and has streamlined local government and fueled economic growth.
